Fighting for you, the Le Sueur County taxpayer, and the future of our truly great county!

Le Sueur County's District 5 is home to something truly special—beautiful lakes, rolling hills, productive farmland, thriving local businesses, and the kind of close-knit communities that make this a great place to live. These aren’t just features of our county—they’re part of who we are. And they’re worth protecting. I'm running for County Commissioner because I believe we have a responsibility to preserve what makes our community strong while planning responsibly for the future.
Families across our area are feeling the pressure of rising costs, and I understand how important it is that local government respects every tax dollar. That’s why I’m committed to responsible, transparent spending—focused on the priorities that matter most to our communities. At the same time, our lakes, land, and green spaces are not just part of our identity—they support local jobs, small businesses, and long-term economic strength. Protecting them means protecting our future.
By staying focused on what matters, listening to residents, and making thoughtful decisions, we can build a future that is both affordable and sustainable—for today and for the next generation.

I was raised in Scott County and graduated from the University of Minnesota. My husband and I have been married for 34 years, and together we’ve raised two sons. Over 20 years ago, we discovered the lakes and fields of Le Sueur County and quickly realized how special this area is. We purchased a cabin on Lake Francis in Elysian and in 2020, we made it our full-time home.
This community has so much to offer—abundant lakes, rolling hills, rich farmland, and, most importantly, the hardworking people who call it home. These are the things that make this county strong—and they’re worth protecting.
My background in corporate business, small business ownership, and service on the Planning and Zoning Commission and Lake Association gives me practical, hands-on insight and skills that are transferable to the Commissioner role and the issues that matter most to our community. That’s why I’m running for County Commissioner: to preserve what makes this place special and ensure it remains strong for years to come.

A family business serving the Southern MN lakes that we all love. Running a business means managing budgets, making hard decision with limited resources and being accountable to the people that depend on you.

Serving on the commission has provided me a greater insight into land use decisions and how government decisions shape the lives and character of our county.

The lakes in District 5 are incredible assets that not only provide recreation, but bring in tourism which helps support local business.

30 year career in the medical device industry demanded strategic planning, effective communication and budget oversight at the highest level - skills directly transferable to county leadership.
